Hyderabad, Feb. 24 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana State President N. Ramchandra Rao on Monday condemned the attack on Sri Dwimukhi Hanuman Temple in the Barkas area of Chandrayangutta, terming the incident in which the idol of Lord Hanuman was vandalised as inhuman and heinous.
In a statement, Ramchandra Rao alleged that the repeated attacks on Hindu temples and idols in Telangana under the Congress government were not isolated incidents but part of a "planned conspiracy" against Sanatana Dharma.
He said that despite dozens of such incidents reported across the State, the government's silence amounted to indirect support for attacks on the Hindu community.
