Nagpur, May 15 -- : In a major operation in the Pune hospital bomb scare case, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained a suspect from Nagpur Railway Station in connection with the planting of a bomb-like object at a private hospital in Pune, officials said on Friday.
The detained suspect, identified as Shivaji Rathod, was taken into custody following a coordinated operation based on CCTV footage analysis and technical surveillance inputs.
The case relates to a suspicious bomb-like object found at Ushakiran Superspecialty Hospital in Pune's Hadapsar area on Wednesday evening, triggering panic among patients and hospital staff.
