Pankaj JainNew Delhi, Feb. 21 -- The Committee of Privileges of the Delhi Assembly has issued summons to the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Government of Punjab, the Director General of Police, Punjab and the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, directing them to appear in person before the panel on February 27 in the ongoing privilege proceedings.
"The summons have been issued under the relevant Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the House. The committee has scheduled its sitting on February 27 to deliberate on the privilege matter concerning alleged remarks attributed to Atishi, leader of Opposition," officials said.
