Jhansi, Aug. 6 -- The youngest son of late mafia don Atiq Ahmed died in a road accident here on Thursday.
Aban Ahmed (21) was on his way to visit his elder brother, Ali Ahmed, who was imprisoned in Jhansi jail.
The accident occurred on the Jhansi-Kanpur Highway in the Poonch police station area.
According to sources, at around 10:30 am, a speeding Creta car was coming from Prayagraj towards Jhansi on the Jhansi-Kanpur highway. Near Khilli village of Pooch police station area, suddenly an animal came on the road. In an attempt to save it, the car went out of control and hit the divider.
In the accident, Aban Ahmed and Sonu Khan, who were sitting in the front seat, suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot.
