Taipei, June 7 -- Shaili Singh clinched the women's long jump title at the New Taipei City Athletics Open 2026 as Indian athletes finished the meet with a total of four medals over the weekend.
Competing at the Banqiao Stadium in Chinese Taipei on Saturday, Shaili registered a best jump of 6.24m to finish ahead of Vietnam's Tran Thi Loan (6.23m) and Australia's Zoe Chester (6.13m).
Shaili's season-best effort of 6.58m came at the Federation Cup last month, while her personal best remains at 6.76m, achieved in 2023.
The mark is also the U20 Indian national record. The senior women's long jump national recordof 6.83m belongs to Anju Bobby George.
