Chandigarh, Feb. 26 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Haryana's Kaithal district achieved a significant breakthrough by arresting an Assistant Registrar (AR) and an Inspector of the Cooperative Societies department while they were allegedly accepting a bribe.

The officials were caught in a meticulously planned trap while receiving a sum of Rs 30,000 in exchange for a fraudulent job promise at a Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS).

According to ACB Inspector Sube Singh, the arrested officials have been identified as Assistant Registrar Rishi Mahajan and Inspector Jasbir.
