Ranchi, May 26 -- A junior secretariat assistant of the Jharkhand Assembly Secretariat died during treatment on Tuesday, two days after undergoing gallbladder surgery at a private hospital in Ranchi, with family members alleging medical negligence and demanding an investigation.
The deceased, Anjana Tiwari, was admitted to the private hospital on May 24 for gallbladder surgery. According to family members, her medical tests were normal before the procedure and she had walked into the hospital on her own.
