Pune, June 26 -- The Maharashtra Assembly has directed the state government to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the murder of 26-year-old realtor Ketan Agarwal, following a demand raised in the House by NCP MLA Sunil Shelke.

Raising the issue during the Assembly session, Shelke urged the government to ensure a comprehensive investigation and sought a fast-track trial in the case. He also demanded that the family of the prime accused, Siya Goyal, be made co-accused, alleging that they had concealed information regarding her relationship with the Agarwal family.
