Chennai, Sept. 21 -- The principal opposition DMK on Monday urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to cancel the ruling TVK's Star Campaingers list for the October six bypoll to two Assembly seats as it contained list of names--alliance party leaders--of those who are not members of the TVK party.
The list contained names of all alliance party leaders, who are part of the newly formed Secular Social Justice Vettri Alliance headed by the TVK, which had converted the alliance to a new Front.
