Shillong, July 15 -- The Kutumba Surakshya Parishad (KSP), a prominent Assam-based Hindu organisation on Wednesday condemned Khasi Students' union (KSU's) demand to demolish a "common worship hall" inside the premises of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office here in Meghalaya.
The KSU, an influential student body in Meghalaya, on Tuesday locked an under-construction temple at the CBI office in the Mawdiangdiang area in New Shillong Township, arguing that the land, designated as government revenue land, should not be repurposed for unauthorised religious structures.
