Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 26 -- In a unique blend of tradition and technology, Asianet has launched the world's first-ever Pooppattu (Flower Song) as part of its 'ColorOnam' celebrations this year.
The special initiative has been created in collaboration with noted music composer Justin Varghese and singer-actor Remya Nambeesan.
The composition is inspired by natural sound waves emitted by flowers such as Thumba, Thechi, Chembarathi, and Shankupushpam, which have been transformed into music using advanced technology.
The result is a soulful track that symbolically revives the nostalgic Onam practice of collecting flowers to create vibrant Pookkalams.
