Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 20 -- In a firm response to growing digital piracy, Asianet has launched legal action against several social media accounts accused of leaking confidential content from its popular reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 before official telecast.
In recent weeks, the channel noticed a spate of online leaks revealing key developments - including eviction results and inside details - ahead of the episodes' airing. Taking a serious view of the issue, Asianet has begun formal legal proceedings to curb the spread of unauthorized content.
The move comes after repeated complaints from viewers who said spoilers were ruining the thrill and surprise element of the show.
