New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Indian kabaddi star Pawan Sehrawat has turned the pressure of expectations into a rallying cry ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, declaring that the 12-member squad has come together with a single objective - to bring home the gold.

Sehrawat, an Arjuna Awardee and one of India's leading raiders, said wearing the national jersey was not merely an honour but a responsibility to carry the hopes of the entire country.

"I feel very proud to be one of the 12 guys chosen from such a large pool of players to represent the country. When I wear the jersey of India, I feel that I have a responsibility, as we are carrying the weight of the whole country out there," he said.
