New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- Sri Lanka and Bangladesh advanced to the men's cricket semifinals at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on Tuesday after both their quarterfinals were washed out by rain without a ball being bowled.
Sri Lanka's match against Nepal was abandoned earlier in the day, before Bangladesh's quarterfinal against Malaysia at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin met the same fate after persistent rain prevented even the toss.
