New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- Defending champions India will face Afghanistan in the quarter-finals of the men's cricket competition at the Asian Games on September 28, with rain threatening to disrupt the knockout stage in Aichi-Nagoya.
India, along with Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, had received direct entry into the quarter-finals as the four top-seeded teams. Afghanistan and Nepal progressed from Group A, while Malaysia and Hong Kong advanced from Group B.
Pakistan will face Hong Kong in the other quarter-final on September 28, while Sri Lanka will take on Nepal and Bangladesh will meet Malaysia on September 29.
