New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- India will look to add another Asian Games gold to their growing list of continental achievements when they face Sri Lanka in the women's cricket final on Tuesday, but their opponents arrive with enough experience and firepower to make the contest interesting.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has been largely comfortable on its way to the final, beating Japan and Bangladesh in convincing fashion. Sri Lanka, meanwhile, had to work harder to book their place, chasing down a challenging target against Pakistan in the semifinal.
Captain Chamari Athapaththu led the way with an unbeaten 82 off 50 balls, giving Sri Lanka the platform they needed to get across the line.
