Jammu, April 14 -- Two players from the Jammu and Kashmir have been selected as probable in Under-18 Men and Women Indian Squad for an upcoming Asia Cup to be held at Kakamigahara, Japan from May 29 to June 6.
As per the official communique, two players from Jammu and Kashmir have been selected for Indian U-18 Men's and Women's teams to participate in the Asia Cup.
Selected probables were Varunpreet Singh and Akshara Dutta.
Varunpreet Singh earned man of the match award while representing J&K team in the 16th Hockey India Sub-Junior National Hockey Championship played at Rajgeer that fetched him a place in the Indian squad.
