Prayagraj, March 8 -- Ashutosh Brahmachari, who filed a case of sexual harassment in the court against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati in Prayagraj, was attacked on Sunday early morning.
Ashutosh Maharaj was coming to Prayagraj by Rewa Express train. The attack took place between Fatehpur and Sirathu railway station of Kaushambi district.
He was attacked with a sharp weapon. He saved his life by locking himself in the train toilet. Ashutosh Maharaj has suffered injuries at several places. He was travelling in the First AC coach of the train.
He arrived in Prayagraj bleeding, although he is out of danger. Ashutosh Maharaj said the attacker wanted to cut off his nose.
