Chennai, Aug. 14 -- CV makers Ashok Leyland, on Friday reported a record Q1 with highest ever Commercial Vehicles volume of 48,763 units vis-a-vis 44,238 units in the same period last year.
It said the Q1 revenue was also highest ever at Rs 9,634 crore as against Rs. 8,725 crore last year, while registering highest ever Q1 PAT of Rs. 609 crore as against Rs. 594 crore.
However, owing to rising material costs, EBITDA was at 10.1% for Q1 FY27 (Rs. 970 crore ) as against 11.1% (Rs. 970 crore).
The company strengthened its cash position with net cash of Rs. 2,252 crore at end of Q1, a positive swing of Rs.1,432 crore on YoY basis.
