Tirumala, June 13 -- Leading automobile manufacturer Ashok Leyland Limited donated a truck worth Rs 31,72,532 to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday.
As part of the handover ceremony, Ashok Leyland President Sanjeev Kumar offered special prayers for the vehicle in front of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Tirumala before formally handing over the truck keys to TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.
TTD officials, including Transport In-charge General Manager Smt Lakshmi Prasanna and Tirumala Deputy Inspector (DI) Sri Krishnaiah, were present on the occasion.
