New Delhi, Sept. 30 -- The second edition of the ASEAN-India Maritime Exercise (AIME-2026) commenced at Subic Bay, bringing together Indian and ASEAN maritime forces for professional, operational and social engagements aimed at enhancing mutual understanding, cooperation and interoperability.
The exercise, being conducted under the theme "Anchored in Trust, United at Sea", involves Indian Naval Ships Sahyadri and Kulish along with maritime forces from ASEAN member states.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Indian Ambassador to the Philippines Harsh Kumar Jain highlighted the importance of maritime cooperation and engagement between India and ASEAN countries.
