Washington, Aug. 21 -- While acknowledging that the national debt remains "too high," US Vice President JD Vance said Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has a "very discreet plan" backed by President Donald Trump to reduce the country's debt burden by ensuring the economy grows faster than government borrowing.
