Itanagar, July 3 -- Arunachal Pradesh Minister Kento Jini has urged union Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to entrust the implementation and maintenance of the Akajan-Likabali-Bame Strategic Road Project to the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
In a letter to the union minister, Jini described the Akajan-Likabali-Bame Strategic Road as more than just a road, calling it a lifeline for seven border districts of Arunachal Pradesh that is vital for connectivity, national security and socio-economic development.
