Itanagar, Aug. 15 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik on Saturday inaugurated the newly established Chief Minister's Office and Residence at Niti Vihar here, coinciding with the 80th Independence Day celebration.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Governor's wife Anagha Parnaik, members of the State Cabinet, legislators, senior government officials and members of the public attended the inaugural ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor expressed confidence that the new Chief Minister's Office would emerge as the nerve centre of governance and development in the state.
