Itanagar, April 24 -- As part of the ongoing Census 2027 process, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik completed his self-enumeration at Lok Bhavan here on Friday, setting an example for citizens to actively participate in the national exercise.
Interacting with officials, the Governor stated that self-enumeration is vital for a credible and inclusive Census, as it enables citizens to contribute directly to nation-building through accurate representation of their family, community and region. He noted that reliable census data forms the foundation for planning schools, hospitals, roads, welfare schemes and development policies.
