Itanagar, May 6 -- The Arunachal Pradesh Government, led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, on Wednesday announced a two per cent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its regular employees and pensioners, reinforcing its commitment to their welfare.
The decision follows the Government of India's Office Memorandums dated April 22 and April 24, 2026, regarding the enhancement of DA and DR for Central Government employees and pensioners.
The enhanced DA will be applicable to All India Service officers serving under the State Government, Central Government employees on deputation to Arunachal Pradesh, and allregular employees of the State Government.
