Itanagar, July 11 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik on Saturday stressed that banking facilities must reach every village and remote habitation in the state to ensure people can access financial services with ease and confidence.
The Governor made the remarks when Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) Chairman Vikal Sharma called on him at Lok Bhavan in Itanagar.
During the meeting, Sharma briefed the Governor on the bank's operations, outreach initiatives, financial inclusion programmes, and the banking and insurance services being provided across the State.
