Itanagar, Sept. 4 -- The Arunachal Pradesh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today welcomed the landmark reform in Goods and Services Tax (GST) announced by union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday.
The new GST framework will come into effect from September 22, bringing major relief to traders and consumers ahead of the festive season.
In a statement, BJP spokesperson and MLA Topin Ete congratulated traders, consumers, and citizens of the state, calling the decision a "significant milestone for Arunachal Pradesh's economic growth and development."He urged trader organisations and consumer bodies to extend gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister for the reform.
