Itanagar, June 6 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday formally handed over its party ticket to former Arunachal Pradesh BJP president Tai Tagak for the upcoming election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from the State.
The ticket was presented to Tagak by State BJP president Kaling Moyong at the party's sate headquarters here in the presence of Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao, party MLAs, state office bearers, and BJP workers.
Welcoming Tagak, Moyong said the party was confident in his ability to represent the aspirations of the people of Arunachal Pradesh in the Upper House of Parliament.
