Itanagar, June 19 -- In a major boost to rural youth employment, the Arunachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) today organized a Mass Career Counselling-cum-Job Offer Letter Distribution Programme under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in Itanagar, facilitating employment opportunities for hundreds of trained candidates.
Altogether 397 trained candidates received job offer letters during the programme, narrowly missing the placement target of 400 candidates set for four Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) - Nurture Employability Economic Development Society, Topu Bui Multipurpose Society, Sheep Society, and Spurthi Rural Development.
