Itanagar, July 5 -- The Arunachal Adivasi Congress (AAC) has accused the Centre of downplaying concerns over alleged Chinese activities along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh and demanded the resignation of union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
In a statement, AAC state chairman Adv Tami Pangu said senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has consistently raised issues concerning the rights of tribal communities and alleged Chinese incursions along the LAC in Parliament.
He alleged that instead of addressing these concerns, Rijiju has targeted Gandhi while denying reports of changes along the border.
