Itanagar, Aug. 27 -- In a major success, Aalo Police has arrested one Nur Hussain (41), a resident of Jyoti Path, Ghoramara, under Hatigaon PS in Assam's Kamrup (M) district, in connection with a cheating case.
West Siang SP Kardak Riba today said that the accused had been absconding since the commission of the offence and was wanted in Aalo PS Case No. 08/25 U/S 318(4)/3(5) of the BNS.
Hussain had deliberately gone into hiding, switched off his mobile phone, and avoided all contact with complainants and law enforcement agencies in an attempt to evade arrest.
