Itanagar, Aug. 27 -- In a major success, Police in Arunachal Pradesh's Aalo have arrested one Nur Hussain (41), a resident of Assam's Kamrup (M) district, in connection with a cheating case.
West Siang SP Kardak Riba today said that the accused had been absconding since the commission of the offence and was wanted in Aalo PS Case No. 08/25 U/S 318(4)/3(5) of the BNS.
Hussain, of Jyoti Path, Ghoramara, under Hatigaon PS in Kamrup, had deliberately gone into hiding, switched off his mobile phone, and avoided all contact with complainants and law enforcement agencies in an attempt to evade arrest.
