Itanagar, Feb. 18 -- In a bid to strengthen skill-based livelihoods in the fisheries sector, Arunachal Pradesh Fisheries Minister Gabriel D Wangsu on Wednesday launched the first phase of the 'Catch Them Young' Comprehensive Skill Development Training Programme at Doimukh near Itanagar.
The programme, organised by the state Department of Fisheries, aims to equip unemployed educated local youth and farmers with technical skills in fisheries and allied sectors, thereby promoting self-employment and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
