Shillong, Feb. 8 -- Meghalaya police are on a man-hunt to nab the owner and supervisor of the illegal coal mine, where 27 miners were killed and nine others injured in one of the deadliest mining disasters at Mynsngat-Thangkso area in East Jaintia Hills district of the state.
On Friday, police arrested Shamehi War (42) and Forme Chyrmang (36) who are the owners of the illegal coal mine where the blast ignited by dynamite hitting a methane gas pocket on February 5 morning at Mynsyngat-Thangkso area.
