Ayodhya, July 18 -- Around 2,300 people have filed applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The deadline to file application for the CEO post ended today.
Approximately 2,300 applications have been received so far, though the final figures are not yet available.
The process of preliminary scrutiny of these applications and selection of eligible candidates has now begun.
The crucial meeting of the Trust will be held on July 22 next when the candidates name for CEO will be discussed.
The three-member committee formed to select the CEO has assigned the responsibility of shortlisting the applications to a senior secretary-level official.
