Dehradun, July 14 -- Around 12 lakh voters were removed while another 19 lakh names have detected discrepancies in their records in Uttarakhand's draft electoral roll published today, as shared by the office of state Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in Dehradun.
The electorate size was purged from more than 83 lakh to around 71 lakh in the post SIR draft voters' list published by the ECI while number of polling booths have increased to nearly 800.
