Parwinder SandhuJaipur, Jan. 15 -- More than one and a half lakh residents of the Pink City witnessed history being made as the 78th Army Day Parade was held in Jaipur held for the first time beyond the confines of an Army cantonment, turning the grand military spectacle into a citywide celebration. The parade, the first since Operation Sindoor, offered a powerful display of the Indian Army's combat strength, advanced weaponry and disciplined manpower.
The Nepal Army band contingent set the tone for the parade as it marched down Mahal Road in Jagatpur locality of the city. It was followed by the contingent of 61 Cavalry, the only active Horsed Cavalry Regiment in the world.
