Srinagar, July 18 -- Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Saturday visited a frontline division in the Ladakh sector, where he reviewed operational preparedness and ongoing efforts to enhance combat capabilities through the induction of advanced technologies and next-generation military equipment.
Lt Gen Sharma, was briefed on measures undertaken towards absorption of niche technologies, induction of next-generation weapons and equipment and adoption of innovative procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
"Interacting with all ranks, he appreciated the formation's operational dynamism and innovative strategies curated to meet diverse contingencies," Army's Northern Command said on X.
