Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, Feb. 25 -- Chief of Army Staff Upendra Dwivedi on Wednesday flagged in the 'Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan Expedition' at the National War Memorial after the team completed a 3,400-km journey along India's western frontier.

The expedition, which traversed key border stretches of Gujarat and Rajasthan, retraced historic battlefields and paid homage at prominent war memorials. Flagged off on February 3 from Dwarka in Gujarat by Jishnu Dev Varma, the rally brought together personnel from the Indian Army's Regiment of Artillery, the Indian Navy and the Border Security Force (BSF).
