Chandigarh, Sept. 6 -- No rain alerts have been issued for Punjab over the next four days, bringing a sigh of relief to the state. In Amritsar's Ramdas, efforts are underway to repair eight breached embankments along the Ravi river, while access to five others remains a challenge.

In Ludhiana's Sasrali village, soil erosion has weakened a critical embankment, prompting the deployment of the Indian Army. Working alongside local authorities, the army is actively engaged in reinforcing the dam to prevent further damage.
