Gadchiroli, May 28 -- Security forces recovered a cache of arms, explosives and equipment allegedly used for manufacturing weapons from a densely forested area along the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border during an anti-Naxal operation, officials said on Thursday.

The recovery was made on May 27 as part of the ongoing Operation Antim Prahar, following specific intelligence inputs provided by surrendered Naxalites, officials said.

According to a police statement, the seized weapons included one INSAS rifle, two single-shot rifles, two 12-bore rifles and 18 live cartridges.
