New York, Sept. 23 -- Argentine President Javier Milei slammed the UN in a scathing address delivered to the body's General Assembly on Wednesday, calling it a "useless organisation" that serves "a caste of arrogantly arrogant parasites".
Milei, one of US President Donald Trump's closest allies in Latin America and a vocal supporter of Israel, has repeatedly criticised the UN, bitterly critiquing what he described as its "interventionist" and "woke" agenda.
In his speech, he accused the organisation of failing to fulfil its role in protecting collective security and human rights, saying it had instead allowed "chaos, violence and international terrorism" to grow.
