New York, Sept. 24 -- Argentine President Javier Milei launched a blistering attack on the United Nations at the 81st General Assembly on Wednesday, branding it a "useless organisation" and warning that Argentina would no longer wait for the world body to act over the Falkland Islands, which Buenos Aires calls the Malvinas.
In a combative address, Milei accused the UN of failing to enforce its own resolutions over the long-running sovereignty dispute with Britain and said Argentina would act against what it considers the unauthorised exploitation of natural resources around the islands.
