Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 27 -- India strengthened its medal prospects at the Asian Games here on Sunday as both recurve teams advanced to the semifinals, while the mixed teams in recurve and compound also booked places in the last four on a busy Day 8.
The Indian men's recurve team defeated China 5-1 in the quarterfinals, while the women's team produced an even more emphatic 6-0 victory over Chinese Taipei to enter the semifinals.
Dhiraj Bommadevara and Kumkum Mohod added another semifinal berth in mixed recurve, defeating Vietnam 6-0 in the quarterfinals.
In compound mixed team, Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav also progressed to the last four after beating Kazakhstan 159-154.
