Mumbai, May 18 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday announced the commencement of applications for the Mukhyamantri Fellowship Programme 2026, describing it as a major opportunity for young people to work closely with the state administration and contribute to Maharashtra's development process.

Sharing the announcement through his official X handle Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister said the fellowship programme would help nurture leadership qualities, creativity and innovative thinking among youth while providing practical governance experience.

He urged eligible candidates to apply before the deadline of May 27 and also tagged the official fellowship handle CM Fellowship Maharashtra in the post.
