Hyderabad, Jan. 12 -- TPCC Vice President and Congress in-charge of Sanathnagar constituency Dr Kota Neelima on Monday warned former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav to tender an apology within 24 hours for his remarks against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, failing which legal action would be initiated and protests intensified across Sanathnagar.
Condemning Talasani's comments, Dr Neelima said Congress workers staged a protest at the Begumpet Police Station, during which an effigy of the former minister was burnt and a road blockade was held. She said the protest was withdrawn only after police assured action.
