Vijayawada, June 4 -- Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-president Kolanukonda Shivaji has countered the allegations made by Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan that the Congress party is stoking regional sentiments among people.
In a statement here on Thursday, the Congress leader asked why the Deputy CM was silent when the TDP led coalition government, of which his Janasena party was a constituent, was "continuously violating the rights of Muslim minorities, demolishing mosques and treating them as second-class citizens".
