Vijayawada, July 30 -- In a significant step towards improving the Ease and Speed of Doing Business, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has notified comprehensive amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Building Rules, 2017, through G.O.Ms.No.161, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (M) Department.
The reforms are aimed at creating a safer, more inclusive, environmentally sustainable and investment-friendly building environment while removing avoidable procedural constraints. The notification follows a consultative process in which draft amendments were published in the AP Extraordinary Gazette.
