Vijayawada, June 27 -- The Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced the Minor Mineral Policy 2025, marking a significant shift in the regulation and allocation of minor mineral resources in the State.

A release here on Friday said, this policy reintroduces the application-based system for granting leases for Granite, Marble, and Building Materials, replacing the earlier auction-only approach.

To facilitate these changes, the Government has issued comprehensive amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966, via G.O. Ms. No. 100, dated June 6, 2025.
